“49 Mile Scenic Drive” Bingo Board – Original

The 49 mile drive sign or the “Seagull Route” sign was designed in 1955 by SF artist Rex May and can be seen every few miles as you drive the very scenic route.

This yellow plaque has a scenic drive sign photo, California State Tartan background and a white hook for hanging keys, dog leash, etc..

We spend too much time looking for stuff. Now they have a home – Bingo = I found it!

The original California State Tartan Series is based on John Muir family clan Tartan:

Blue reflects the Sky, the Pacific, the Rivers & Mountains
Green reflects the Sierras, Fields, Forests & Parks
Red,Gold & Blue signify the Arts, Sciences & Industry of the people of State of California
