“America’s Cup” is arguably the most difficult trophy in sport to win. The first race in 1851, off the coast of England, was won by the yacht named “America” representing the young New York Yacht Club.  “America” defeated the Royal Yacht Squadron of England with Queen Victoria watching the race. The trophy named after the boat is the oldest in international sport.

My America’s Cup collection of fun, whimsical souvenir plaques commemorate the 2013 America’s Cup race in San Francisco . The white plaque has a AC boat graphic, American Flag background and a copper hook for hanging keys, dog leash, etc..

We spend too much time looking for stuff. Now they have a home – Bingo = I found it!
